5 x Carbonit water filter NFP Premium U-9
ATTENTION Please note!
1. this very fine filter cartridge has a high filtration performance and can therefore clog much earlier than the standard cartridge NFP Premium 9 with 0.45µm if the water is heavily contaminated.
2. due to the extreme density of the filter cartridge of 0.35 microns, we do not recommend using it in a domestic water supply below 3.5 bar, as the flow rate per minute can no longer be guaranteed.
NFP Premium U-9. filter fineness 0.35 micron
Suitable for Carbonit Sanuno, Vario and Duo drinking water appliances.
Features of the Carbonit NFP Premium-U9 water filter cartridge
CARBONIT Monoblock® - baked block filter manufactured in a sintering process, internationally patented, multi-award-winning and scientifically recognised. (Not to be confused with loose granular carbon or extruded blocks). This filter cartridge fits e.g. Carbonit SanUNO, DUO and VARIO. Standardised 9 3/4" Carbonit monoblock with a filter fineness of 0.35 µm absolute. Flat seal (SOE) with O-ring. High protection against bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, polar pesticides and pharmaceutical residues. This block filter combines the well-known adsorptive powers of sintered activated carbon (e.g. pesticides) with mechanical filtration (e.g. bacteria). Activated carbon has a large surface area, which is used as an adsorbent in the chemical, medical and water and wastewater treatment industries, among others. It primarily removes undesirable colours, tastes and odours from gases, vapours and liquids. As a sintered activated carbon block filter based on internationally patented Carbonit technology, unrivalled filtration results have been scientifically verified.

Filter change:
With very high drinking water loads, the pores of the filter cartridge may become clogged before the recommended service life of 6 months. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months at the latest (in accordance with DIN 1988). In principle, 10,000 litres of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced.
The flat seals of the cartridges are replaced with every filter change (always included in the replacement cartridge pack). This ensures perfect sealing and functionality at all times. Any biofilm contamination is also removed.
